Samsung confirms Android ICS updates for the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, and recent tablets

Samsung Italy has reportedly confirmed that it would upgrade some of its tablets and smartphones to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich next year. According to HDblog.it, the following devices will get Android ICS starting the second quarter of 2012: Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. As already announced, the world's first Android Ice Cream Sandwich device is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which will be launched next month.
