Just hours after photos have been leaked in the tech blogosphere, Motorola and Verizon Wireless have finally unveiled the LTE-capable Droid RAZR smartphone, said to the the thinnest of its kind. Motorola brags that this device is “faster, thinner, smarter, and stronger”–as repeatedly emphasized during its launch event–than that basic smartphone you are holding. The latest Android-powered phone from Motorola takes its design cues heavily from other Droid devices, as it looks pretty much like the Droid X or X2. It has that same hump along the upper back edge, but with less weight and thinner profile at 7.1 millimeters.
