This pocket-sized camera sports a 12.1-megapixel MOS sensor, a 24mm ultra wide angle lens, a 16x optical zoom lens, a 3.0-inch 460k-dot LCD display and 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities (50fps). Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.

MOMO founder Gianpiero Moretti dead at 71

Gianpiero Moretti, driver and founder of race equipment manufacturer MOMO, passed away in his home in Milan this month after a lengthy illness. The 71-year-old began making steering wheels in his 20s, eventually translating his business into international success after Ferrari factory driver John Surtees adopted a MOMO wheel in his 158 F1 racing car in 1964. That car went on to carry Surtees to his only Formula One title, but Moretti's success blossomed. He opened a factory in Verona in 1966 and ran MOMO for three decades before selling it to a larger supplier.

Fans of the game of Sudoku might enjoy this concept watch from the Tokyoflash Design Studio. As the rendering above might have already given it away, the Sudoku watch features a Sudoku interface that wearers can use to help tell the time. If you're not particularly adept at Sudoku, not to worry as the majority of the numbers have already been filled up, leaving six empty boxes for the hour, minutes and seconds. Nokia Belle update could start rolling out 8th February

So while we may have gotten official word that the Nokia Belle update is expected to roll out in February, unfortunately it was not specified as to when exactly in February will Symbian users be receiving the update. Well that could have changed thanks to Nokia's Vietnamese website who might have accidentally let the cat out of the bag ahead of schedule, thus revealing that the update will begin rolling out to Symbian Anna users come 8th of February. WiFi certification fuels speculation of Samsung Galaxy Note successor?

The Samsung Galaxy Note is just now working its way to the States, but a recent certification by the WiFi Alliance is already stoking the flames of its replacement. Known only as the GT-N8000, it's thought this device may be the eventual replacement for the GT-N7000. Accompanying it is the Samsung GT-N8013 which also recently hit the FCC, and is presumably a variation of the GT-N8000. Of course, this isn't the only plausible explanation, as the new model number may hint at yet another new family of devices. There's credence to this flow of logic, too, as the Galaxy S II (i9100) was the spiritual decedent of the original Galaxy S (i9000).

A yet to be announced Nokia Lumia 910 has appeared at a Dutch online retailer. The device sports a spec sheet, quite similar to the U.S. exclusive Lumia 900, save for the lack of LTE radio and the presence of a massive 12MP camera sensor on board - a first from Nokia since the highly revered N8 came into being. There is no launch date available for the device on the retailer's webpage.

Facebook reportedly plans IPO filing for Wednesday

. Facebook plans to file for its initial public offering as soon as Wednesday next week according to multiple reports from Dow Jones Newswires. Morgan Stanley is expected to win the deal to lead the highly anticipated IPO, and Goldman Sachs is also reportedly expected to play a role. According to Dow Jones Newswires, Facebook is currently looking at a valuation between $75 billion and $100 billion. Following next week's anticipated filing, it will still be several months until the company goes public. The initial offering is expected to raise as much as $10 billion, which would make it the biggest U.S. Internet IPO in history.

LG's upcoming Optimus 3D sequel, the CX2, could be sold as the 3D Max

The LG CX2 got leaked a few days ago as the successor to the first 3D-enabled smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D. Yet CX2 is obviously just a codename (or, worst case scenario, will be used as the model number when it launches). So then one has to wonder what this device will end up being sold as. Thankfully, it now seems that it won't be labelled the Optimus 3D 2. According to GSM-Israel, a very reliable source said it would be called 3D Max. It's unclear if it will keep the Optimus branding that so far has been seen in every Android device to come out of LG – or not.

So it may be the LG 3D Max, or the LG Optimus 3D Max.

General Motors has launched an advertising campaign touting the safety of the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in electric vehicle, just as its CEO testified to Congress that a recent Volt fire that took place after a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration crash test would never occur under real-world circumstances, Bloomberg has reported. GM CEO Dan Akerson (pictured) said in the campaign that he "couldn't be prouder" of the technology the company uses to produce the Volt, the wire service noted. Motorola posts $80 million Q4 loss; ships 10.5 million mobile devices including 200,000 tablets

. Motorola Mobility on Thursday announced the company's results for the fourth quarter last year. The vendor managed $3.4 billion in revenue but posted a net loss of $80 million, or $0.27 per share. Motorola posted a profit of $0.27 per share in the same quarter a year earlier. For the full year, the company's revenue totaled $13.1 billion, up 14% compared to 2010, and it reported a net loss was $0.84 per share compared to a loss of $0.29 per share in 2010. Motorola shipped 10.5 million mobile devices in the fourth quarter, including 200,000 tablets, and full-year device shipments totaled 42.4 million units.

BlackBerry PlayBook and EVO View 4G to be phased out at Sprint

. Sprint has updated the company's end-of-life list to include two of its tablets. Shipments of the carrier's BlackBerry Playbook and HTC EVO View 4G will come to a halt and supplies will run down within the coming weeks, according to the EOL list obtained by SprintFeed. Both tablets will be phased out by the end of of January, possibly leading to the announcement of an LTE tablet from the Overland Park-based company.
