Twitter has just announced new versions of its mobile app for both the iPhone and Android devices. The apps bring back some high-demand features that used to be present in the app, as well as some new design and functionality improvements. Both versions of the app now features a swipe shortcut which lets users reply, retweet, favorite or share tweets without having to leave the timeline, and a confirmation alert for “find friends”. Twitter for iPhone gets copy and paste again, the option to copy links from tweets, an updated design for Direct Messages and font size settings.
