Facebook user profile photos get larger

Facebook user profile photos get larger

Facebook covertly improved the user profile photo segment by allowing it to be larger on Timeline, and some folks look at this move as a knee-jerk response by Facebook as Google updated their own social network, Google+, to sport larger photos in one's profile just a few days earlier. Prior to Facebook's silent update, a photo measured 130 x 125 pixels, and will overlay the user's Timeline Cover image. This image is actually a Mini Me of one's s profile image, and will be displayed in all its glory upon clicking it. Well, the improvement will see the pixel count rise to 166 x 160.
