According to a Japanese blog Macotakara, Apple is planning to introduce the next generation iPod Nano later this year. The device is expected to be christened as iPod Nano 7G and will be significantly different from the current iPod Nano on the market. Apple's most recent iPod Nano shed the larger form factor of previous iPod Nanos to sport an inch-sized square form factor with a touchscreen interface. The design became so popular that it let to the inception of the iconic and creative iPod Nano watch trend.
However, with the next generation iPod, all that is going to change - at least sources say so.
