Etched into the casing of the new iMac is the small caption that reads, “Assembled in USA.” This is interesting because it is widely considered that Apple products are assembled in China. The FTC makes it clear saying, “A product that includes foreign components may be called ‘Assembled in USA' without qualification when its principal assembly takes place in the U.S.
