We all jolly well know that Samsung has plans for an 8" tablet, which will obviously be known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, but that particular tablet, despite its rather decent display size that could cram in a Full HD resolution, will just feature the now classic 1280 x 800 resolution, which would not be able to keep up with the rumored (and upcoming) iPad mini that has been outfitted with a Retina Display, churning out 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.
