Sprint announces the Kyocera Hydro Edge

The tech world is converging on Las Vegas this week for CTIA 2013, and one of the first major announcements have been made. Sprint has announced the Kyocera Hydro Edge, the followup to the original Hydro that was introduced last year. This device boasts water-proof capabilities, with Sprint assuring folks that a splash of water or up to 3.3 feet of submersion for up to 30 minutes won't prove to be a problem for this little guy. The device is quite decent for those who it's aimed at. You're looking at a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon Processor, a 4-inch impact resistant display, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and more.
