The big news in the world of Lexus might be its polarizing new IS, but that hasn't stopped exhibitors at the SEMA show from experimenting with all three generations of the Japanese 3 Series fighter. Let's talk about this third-generation IS, because it's, um, different. Designed by Rob Evans, it's a contest winner from DeviantArt (click the link to see several of the other entries put together by the DeviantArt community). We'll admit, it's pretty wild looking. Try to imagine it covered in sponsorship liveries and racing in the Japanese Super GT series, and its polarizing looks become a bit easier on the eye.
