Apple Won't Pursue Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini In Court

It has been reported by Reuters that Apple will be dropping patent claims against new Samsung phone known as the Galaxy S3 mini, but of course, this is not because Apple is still in the spirit of Christmas, but rather, after Samsung claimed that they will not be offering the Galaxy S3 mini for sale in the strategic US market. I wonder whether this will hold true for Apple in other countries where the Galaxy S3 mini is sold, and there is a sizeable presence of the iPhone there. Volkswagen to resume Routan minivan production in 2013 after all

Last week, we reported that production of the Chrysler-based Volkswagen Routan minivan had been halted since July, and its future seemed grim. It appears now that the Volkswagen minivan will live on, with production resuming in 2013. According to an Automotive News report, the Routan will be unchanged for the 2013 model year (surprise!) and continue to be produced at the Windsor, Ontario facility, where Chrysler assembles the Town and Country. Questions over the future of the Routan have stemmed from its poor sales performance.

Most new PC buyers will have Windows 8 pre-loaded, and it is only a matter of time before the new Microsoft OS gets the majority share of Windows installs, however as a current Windows 7 user, should you upgrade. Consumer Reports says that you should rather stick to Windows 7, for now. Here are the quick list of reasons:. 1/ Windows 7 works and most users are happy with it
2/ Windows 8 is “all about touch”

Yesterday we reported on the iOS 6.1 beta 4 being released to developers, and today, we have a new iOS 6.0.2 update that should be available for you to update your iPhone 5 or iPad Mini as the update is geared directly towards those devices. The iOS 6.0.2 update includes a number of fixes, the primary one being a fix for a bug that “could impact Wi-Fi,” which apparently the iPhone 5 and the iPad Mini have been having issues with. I own an iPhone 5, but have never noticed any issues with my Wi-Fi connection during use.

BMW has been at the forefront of volume automakers looking to invest in carbon fiber technology. The latest development in the German automaker's efforts is in the form of a joint venture with aircraft giant Boeing. According to a joint press release, the two companies will collaborate on further development of the lightweight material, including production methods and carbon fiber recycling. The partnership is a fitting one, as Boeing and BMW have both been pushing carbon fiber development in their respective industries. BMW has invested in carbon fiber producer SGL Group, and created the i3 and i8 concepts with heavy use of the material.

The 2013 Detroit Auto Show is shaping up to be a good one.
