At the end of Steve Jobs' life, it was said that he was interested in changing the way TVs are in the future, and Apple's current CEO, Tim Cook, has also mentioned something along the same vein. An Apple TV that is very different from the one that is in the market would definitely reinvigorate the scene, and it could be the next big thing from Apple. Following that, there are whispers on the ground that Apple is currently testing a bunch of HDTV prototypes with manufacturing partner Hon Hai, although this does not mean that we will see a new hardware launch within what's left of this calendar year.
