While Amazon's Kindle Fire tablets have yet to reach the hands of consumers, it looks like Amazon is already working on releasing the successor to the tablet. According to a report by Taiwanese industry insiders, DigiTimes, Foxconn Electronics has secured orders from Amazon for the next generation Kindle Fire tablets. Since there have been no details about these purported second generation tablets, there's no telling if they are going to be a minor refresh or a major update. However the tablets are said to be shipping out in the first half of 2012.
